BENEFITS OF ELECTRONIC CLAIMS
Paper claims have two to three times errors than those submitted electronically
Electronic submissions cut payment time to one to three weeks, from six to twelve weeks for paper claims processing
Electronically transmitted claims are 60% less likely to be rejected and 75% less likely to be held for review, which delays payments
Our process is simple. Once we receive your superbills or charge sheets, our claims specialists then enter all the data from each claim into our electronic claims processing system. Our system edits each claim to check for inaccuracies. The claim is then electronically transmitted on a HCFA 1500 form to a clearinghouse where it is once again edited for any mistakes and formatted. From there, the claim is then transmitted to the payer’s location (usually within 24 hours of initial transmission). A check is then issued to the doctor usually within 5 – 21 days.
HOW SUPERBILLS OR CHARGE SHEETS ARE SUBMITTED TO US
Typically, we receive your superbills or charge sheets via postage paid envelopes that we provide to our clients. However, if you are local, we can arrange to have the superbills picked up at your office. Other methods may be used, however, some may involve additional costs to the client
